Badalassi leather from Carlo tannery in Tuscany.  4 oz. Vegetable tanned. 

Each cover is handmade, one at a time. As with any human-made item, there may be slight variations.

Leather is a natural product and has natural defects like wrinkles, stretch marks, and scratches from the living animal. We source leather from a tannery that uses hides that are a by-product of the meat industry and tan them with fats and plant dyes. This leather will develop a patina with use. It is easily scratched and marked, which gives your notebook a distinctive character all your own. We do not currently offer foiling or stamping, but your cover is safe to take to someone who offers heat stamping.
